“The Quintessential Quintuplets” by Negi Haruba captivated readers of Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) with the unique and irresistibly cute charms of the five quintuplets, each with their own distinct personalities. The series, originally a one-shot, was later expanded into a full-fledged serialized work. The series was adapted into an anime and then into a movie, creating a stir in contemporary romantic comedy, and became a hit with a total of over 20 million copies in circulation (as of December 2022).
As the TV anime celebrates its 5th anniversary and the excitement mounts, the stage adaptation has finally been decided! The 4th-generation members of Hinatazaka46, who continue to run as a top idol group, will play the roles of five cute heroines who cherish their sisterly bond. Story
Futaro Uesugi, a high school sophomore living a poor life, receives an offer for a part-time job as a private tutor with good conditions. However, the student he is supposed to be teaching is his classmate! And it turns out to be quintuplets!
The quintuplets－ Nakano Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki are all beautiful girls, but they are problem children who are on the “verge of failing” and “hate studying”! The first task is to win the trust of the sisters...!? The Nakano family's quintuplets present a romantic comedy bursting with 500% cuteness, starring five unique personalities!
