“xxxHOLiC,” by the popular creative writing group CLAMP, is a blockbuster hit series that has sold more than 14.5 million copies in total.
This popular work has been serialized in ""Young Magazine"" (Kodansha) since 2003 and has been developed into a variety of media mixes, including animated films, TV animation, and live-action dramas. In 2021, it was adapted into an all-male stage play titled ENGEKICHOITAN ""xxxHOLiC,"" gaining new popularity.
And in 2025, ENGEKICHOITAN “xxxHOLiC” -Zoku・Sai-（-sequel/again-）will be staged!
This production is a revival of the ENGEKICHOITAN ""xxxHOLiC -Zoku-（-sequel-）"" which was performed in 2023, and just like the previous production, the all-male cast, director Fumiya Matsuzaki, and scriptwriter Masafumi Hata will continue to brilliantly color the world of ""xxxHOLiC"" once again.
Story
Let's make your wishes come true―
Kimihiro Watanuki is a high school student who is troubled by his constitution to see and attract ""ayakashi"" (ghosts).
Yuko Ichihara is the proprietress of a mansion called “Mise”, where she grants the wishes of her guests.
Yuko sees through Watanuki's wish to do something about his constitution to see ""Ayakashi.""
However, they need a commensurate “price” to make that wish come true.
In order to make commensurate “price”, he was forced to take a part-time job at “Mise”－
There is no such thing as coincidence in this world, the only thing is...... HITSUZEN(necessity).
