Outline

“No.6” is a near-future science fiction and dystopian novel by Atsuko Asano, whose best-selling novels ‘Battery’ and others have gained popularity for their intense depictions of human relationships and emotions among teenage boys and girls.
This first stage adaptation, written, directed, and scored by Sayaka Asai (One on One), will portray the complex human relationships and unique world of “No.6” as a musical with beautiful music.

Story

Sion grew up in Cronos, an upscale residential area in the ideal city of “No.6”, and is an elite with a promising future.
On his twelfth birthday. The window opens involuntarily with an inexpressible stirring in my chest at the arrival of an unusual storm.
Suddenly, a soaked boy jumped into the room. Sion takes care of him, who calls himself “Nezumi”（mouse）, but the next morning he disappears...
Four years later, Sion is living in Lost Town after being evicted from Kronos, and one day he is almost taken in as a suspect in a mysterious incident that happened around him...
But the person who jumped out to rescue him at the last moment was a “Nezumi” he had met that day!
Coincidence or fate? The harsh “truth” awaits them as they mutually save each other's lives. What was the destination of their clumsy but strong hand in hand?
