Outline
This is the fourth stage adaptation of “Litchi☆Hikari Club,” a manga published by Usamaru Furuya in 2005. The play is written and directed by Aoto Tani, who founded and directs his own theater company, “Zikanseisaku”, and will present a new play, Theater “Litchi Hikariclub” 2025, in which real boys' emotions are extracted and spun through “conversation”.
Story
“Keikoucho”, a town shrouded in black factory smoke.
The boys who gather in an abandoned factory in a corner of the city call themselves “Hikari Club” and create a sweet machine called “Litchi” for a noble purpose.
They refuse to grow up ugly and dream of eternal beauty and capture one beautiful girl.
That was the beginning of the collapse. ......
The pure desires of the boys are imbued with madness, and betrayal, dependency, and jealousy begin to surface.
What is love, what is hope, what is eternity?
What will be the fate of these beautiful but fragile boys who have lost hope?
